You Must Avoid Things In Ramadan

As we know that the month of blessings (RAMADAN) is running through, and Muslims all over the world are enjoined to adhere to the rules that fasting in this glorious month.

The Noble Prophet (peace be upon him and his progeny) has said:
β€œIt (Ramadan) is the month, whose beginning is mercy, its middle, forgiveness, and its end, emancipation from the fire(of hell) β€”.”

The Ashra of Rahmat has been done and in the following days, I noticed some acts of people that must be avoided in this Holy month or for a lifetime if possible. While Islam preaches that every Muslim must abstain from these acts in their everyday life because involving any of these things has a bad impact on your fast.
Here are the things that must avoid in the Month of Ramadan.


1. Control Gazing.

To gaze is to look steadily and intently at something, especially at that which excites admiration, curiosity, or interest, Muslims are advised to control their gaze and looking on the opposite sex during Ramadan. Gazing lets your mind polluted without caution so try to avoid this for long.


2.Smoking

Smoking is prohibited in Islam during Ramadan and it is suggested that it should be avoided totally in everyday life. Smoking while fasting can increase the risk of stroke and brain damage.


3. Avoid Excessive Consumption.

After about 15 hours of fasting our sugar level is very low and sometimes our body exhausted. Fasting lets us feel the pang of hunger and it pushes us to consume food excessively at Iftar (break of fast). Muslims should avoid this because over-consuming food makes our bodies worse.


4. Avoid Meaningless Engagements.

Islam advises Muslims to act in the month of Ramadan, people try to avoid to engage in those work which is meaningless and worthless like; playing more games, watching movies, rid-up with friends the whole night. Try to spend lots of time during Ramadan in Ibadah-acts of worship.


5. Remove Grudges.

Islam is the religion of peace, love, humanity, and mercifulness and teaches us to forget everything and forgive and in Ramadan try to reconcile to those people against whom hold grudges not only in Ramadan even outside.


6. Control Your Anger.

Getting angry doesn't invalidate the fasting of Ramadan, during fasting our sugar level is getting low, and it kind of irritability when hunger causes people to act like a bear. Ramadan and Fasting, teaches us to sacrifice, to bear, to open your heart for everyone, to praise Almighty Allah and His creation.


7.Too Much Socializing.

We are living in the world of socialism and most people are very social in normal days they follow everything like; Facebook, WhatsApp, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, etc. It's okay but in Ramadan try to give more time in Ibadah and when its necessary used these and this one is especially for TikTok user.


8. Avoid Excessive Sleep.

Fasting means be deprived of all kinds of foods, not for all kinds of work, people slept after Fajr and wakes up before Asar, sleeping is not prohibited in the holy month, Muslims are enjoined to spend a significant part of the month observing prayers and reciting the Quran.


So these are the things which we must avoid In Ramadan and try to hold it for a lifetime.
